        At Lafayette General, the Rehab Unit is self-contained on the 10th floor of the hospital, West Tower. One of the first ''new'' units to open after renovation, the beautiful, large, remodeled rooms have penthouse views from the top of the hospital. The unit layout has more efficient space for sRehab Unittaff''a central location promotes better communication among staff and patients, and provides an ease of movement for patients traveling between therapy sessions. Each patient occupies a private room with a full bathroom; and shares public areas, such as therapy rooms and the dining room, for activities. Placing our patients in the company of others with similar goals and challenges provides motivation and encouragement.

        Overall

        First, this walk-in clinic is slower than anywhere I've ever been. Second, was in for SEVERE TMJ issues, explained I have taken ibuprofen and it wasn't helping, gave me more ibuprofen. And that's it. Third, and the worst, got called a "thing" by one of the nurses. She was refusing to give me a shot because "she didn't want to touch that thing".

        Plus, only the receptionist was polite throughout the entire visit. The doctors and nurses didn't believe the pain I was in, severely judged me for where I work and my tattoos, and again, I was called a thing.

        Never, ever going back. I highly recommend staying far from them. Do not go here at all. Minute med on Johnston is far better with nicer staff.

        Overall

        I have received care on several occasions and have been treated fairly quickly, only once did I have to wait an hour. But I have waited longer in Dr.s offices. The staff are professional but caring. On a couple of occasions, tHey have called and followed up on my care.

        Sloooooww!!!

        Plan on waiting several hours. Came here three times and always the same thing. Slooooowww!!! I'm done coming here. Lots more walk in clinics that don't ever take this long to see patients.
