I had a problem at my home with a 4 inch drain that was clogged and draining slowly. I called several plumbing businesses before I decided to use Ben Franklin Plumbing. I was very satisfied with their professional services and reasonable rates. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them in the future if needed.

We are a small office and had a water heater go out mid winter. Not like we used it for showers, but definitely pleasant washing your hands with ICE COLD water. They came out same day to inspect or repair, advised us that it was beyond repair. Due to the limited space we had for a replacement water heater, they gave us a couple options and had a new one installed the next day. Very professional, courteous. Would definitely recommend you give them a call for your plumbing needs.

I called them after a one man plumber decided he wasn't going to finish the job he started. Cindy was very compassionate about my situation because I was on a tight schedule due to inspectors and at last minute discovered my water heater wasn't working. She sent Gilbert the very next day and he explained thoroughly what they were doing and what the cost was. He did exactly that and also cleaned up any mess after they were done unlike KJ Plumbing who left messes and mud all over my finished floors. Gilbert even went through all the work he did and was done quickly. I had another problem a couple days later with another building and he made time out if his day and was there within an hour and once again done very thouroghly, timely and cleaned up once again. Very professional office staff and would highly recommend Gilbert for any future plumbing issues!

Within two weeks of buying my house I noticed my drains were slow and eventually stopped draining all together. I called Benjamin Franklin to check it out. They had to try and snake out my drains from the roof since the previous owners buried the clean out access in the front yard. After fighting with it for a couple of hours with no real progress they ran a camera down the line. They found that the two trees in my front yard had completely consumed the old clay sewage pipe with their roots and the entire length of pipe from my house to the main sewage line in the street had to be replaced. Knowing that I had very little savings left after buying the house, the Benjamin Franklin team offered us a very reasonable estimate for the work. I called around for bids and found Benjamin Franklin to be the cheapest by nearly $1,000. They showed up right on time and started working right away. After a couple of back breaking hours with shovels they realized the pipe they needed to get to was going deeper as it went to the street and their shovels were not going to cut it. They called in a subcontractor with a backhoe, at no extra cost to me, and continued working. By the time they had gotten to the street hookup they were 10 feet underground and had to tunnel under a huge silver maple tree. They worked non-stop for approx. 14 hours without even taking a lunch break. They got it all done in one day and allowed my wife, two infants, and myself to actually live in the house we just bought. I have never seen their level of professionalism, dedication, and integrity in any service I have ever received. I whole heartedly recommend Benjamin Franklin of Lafayette, IN.

I discovered a pipe had burst and was spraying water all over my garage. then the handle on the main broke so I couldn't get the water off. A well-skilled plumber was at my home within an hour and fixed the problem that night. He was polite and professional at all times. I highly recommend them.
