We hired Chris to pour concrete in our backyard. You might recognize our outdoor planter box in some if his advertising fliers. We recently requested a face to face meeting to talk about some quality concerns we had for a job we hired The Yard Guy for; Chris had requested we follow up with him in the Spring..He hired subcontractors to pour and stain the concret in our backyard. The subcontractor put a hole in our irragation system while framing for the concrete, this was unknown until the concrete cured and we turned our watering system back on. About a week after water begun gushing from the side of the concrete pad. We immediately contacted Chris with video. He sent a subcontractor out to fix the leak and see if additional work was needed. They capped the old line and ran a new one. August 2016 The subcontractor said the area under the concrete needed to be refilled or we were at a high risk of developing a crack in the concrete. Chris was very distant about fixing the ground to prevent a crack. By October 2016 we had a crack and again notified Chris with photos. He requested we wait til Spring to fix the issue. Now that it is Spring Chris says my issue is with the subcontractors not him I paid him in full. This payment in full was at his request saying he would not leave me hanging but he was over budget and could use the money. I had prevously corrected his accounting 3 times in His favor i thought we had equal respect. The subcontractors will not call me back. The stain is very uneven; I was told this would be fixed; subcontractor said he did the best he could but the concret was not acid washed. Chris had said he would make sure it was washed 1st; along with a dip in the concret that always!! Has a puddle in it right in the middle of the backyard walkway.Chris said the Concrete company was Cereghino Concrete and landscaping. What to do when they won't even set a meeting to talk?

Owner is a nice guy, he does try to accommodate your schedule and is fairly expedient when it comes to completing the job. Work that was done on my property was the fence, leveling and re seeding front and back yard and repairing small retaining wall in the back yard. Job was done while i was away for work so i didn't see it first hand until i got back. Job was done in early April. So now, onto the problems... Retaining wall that was leaning was fixed but 2 of the railroad ties were damaged. I guess the owner did not see it necessary to ask me if he should replace them at extra cost, which i would have. I also had to try to make one end of it look somewhat presentable since the one small end piece was just left sitting off to the side. The fence, my biggest problem. I believe the cheapest available materials were used. Boards started bowing and cracking within 2 months of the job being completed. On one section of the fence none of the boards were lined up at the bottom, all were at different heights. At first i thought he did that because he tried to line them up at the top, but after i got home i realized the top was cut to make it level. On one of the other sections boards were nailed into a rotted 2x4 and came off about a month in, should have been replaced. Overall fence looks poor, I think I could have done a better job myself never having done a fence job before. After I came home I asked the owner of the company to stop by so I could show him what my problems with the fence were. He seemed somewhat surprised by my issues but told me the problems would be corrected. One of the problems was fixed in June, section with boards not lined up at the bottom. However his guys that came out did not feel it was necessary to fix the section with boards coming off of the rotted out 2x4. I think one of the biggest issues with The Yard Guy is that he has people working for him that do not care at all about the quality of work they do for the company. You can barely get into my back yard because the latch was reattached in the wrong spot, you have to pull entire gate up to open it. That didn't seem to strike them as something they should fix. Section they worked on fixing was about 15 feet away from the other section that required attention but somehow they did not notice it. If they were sent to fix the job one would think they would address all the issues that I brought up. Another issue with the company is an owner who thinks that the job he did here is an acceptable representation of his work, craftsmanship(or lack of it) and his employees. I finally gave up waiting, fixed the latch, replaced the 2x4, and now I'm stuck with an ugly looking fence.

This guy does a horrible job he had workers come out to take out 6 bushes and charged $600 for these little bushes and it only took them two hours and they didn't clean up their mess nor did they cut them how they where requested to. And when we called he to ask why he would not give an answer. Do not use this guy he takes advantage of people.

A few months ago the person and someone came to do my lawn, first time. He did a terrible job as far as weed eating. The lawn was choppy, although the grass was wet. He charged me $167.00 for 2 hrs work. I left him a voice mail and also spoke with him about my concerns but he had no intention of a refund or even a partial refund. I feel I was taken advantage of with this person.
