DO NOT GO HERE!!!



We had never been to this restaurant and decided to give is a try the other week. The food was fairly expensive and just OK and the service was fine until we looked at our credit card!



Our bill for two, with no alcohol was $80, and we gave the waitress a $16 tip. When we checked our credit card statement a couple of days later we had a charge for $1,680!! The waitress had changed the tip from $16 to $1600.00!



We contacted the restaurant manager right away and he said that he would look into it and get back to us. He called us back a half an hour later and said that he would fix it in an overnight batch to our credit card. He did not apologize.



The next day we checked our statement and nothing had changed. We called the manager back, and he said there was nothing he could do to fix the charge, because he did not receive the funds. He agreed that he charged us the $1,680; but that we should just call the #800 number on the back of the card, he could not help us.



He never apologized for the inconvenience or anything; and was not willing to help us.



We did contact the credit card company and issued a complaint and after a couple weeks they credit us back $1584.

Wonderful, fanciful "hunting lodge" environment and excellent food, which is perfectly prepared; flavorful and bountiful!!! Courteous, pleasant, and cheerful personnel, too. You don't have to choose one of their steaks, and the red cabbage salad, or the garlic-butter bread, but why wouldn't you? Your arteries (& pocketbook) probably won't allow you to eat here every day of the week, but a great spot for the occasional treat or special event! The BEST dining experience available for a very l-o-n-g stretch! Very family friendly, too.
