My all-time favorite Thai, and possibly even my favorite restaurant. The only 5-Star rating I have given to a restaurant. The pineapple fried rice, garlic grean beans, tom ka gai, everything is really excellent. Min comes out from the kitchen after your meal to see if everything was all right. Sometimes the wait is a bit long for your food, because they're in there making it fresh. They do a complete vegetarian menu as well -- everything on their menu comes vegetarian. The oolong tea is perfect. Comfortable tables and chairs. Fantastic dining experience.

I have to agree. The food is good, but the service is horrible. You have to wait so long for refills and if you have a question or need something, better to stand up for the waitress to actually come over.. Seems like they don't even care or maybe just always understaffed..
Thai is my fav kind of food so I am always trying all of the Thai places i can find. Thai places in La Canada and areas around it, in Van Nuys, Burbank, Redondo Beach, North Hollywood, all over southern Cali. This is by far the best Thai I have found. Clean place, nice atmosphere, fast, nice service, resonable prices. Not just a hole in the wall, a beautiful little sit down restaurant for a date, (I've actually suggested this place for several of mine ;0) ). I will try just about anything, but am particular what I call good. I like flavor, and hate when meats have alot of fat or grissel. This place has great flavors and doesn't have any of the gross extras you don't want. Actually, I really miss living as close to them as I used to. They have a few great Vegan items too since I have taken a few Vegan family & friends there. The only other Thai restaurant I've found that might match this place in my absolute favorites category in all of my travels, is by Las Vegas. Try it out, you'll love it!!

The food tasted great, but the portions are somewhat on the small side. Now, I don't ask for much and am mostly content with what I have and try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but the woman serving my table was horrible. She always had a scowel on her face, constantly ignored my table, and it seemed she serviced tables better if she thought she was going to be tipped well, which really is a pitty, because I have been known to tip up to 30% based soley on service. (It also shows how one should never judge a book by its cover). I think I can say I get better service at the DMV!! In any case, the atmoshphere was cozy and I still marvel at how they managed to fit all those tables in there. I do recomend trying the food, because it is delicious, but only if you have a few (9-12) extra bucks to drop for small portions and bad service.

After driving past this restaurant for years, I finally decided to go last weekend for lunch. Boy, was I missing out. I must say, the Thai food is better than Bobaworld/Noodle World. It's just more flavorful and the dishes really stand out. As for the service, the waitress was very friendly and gracious. The only problem was, she was the only person waiting on the entire dining room. I say dining room, because the restaurant looks sort of like someone's dining hall, with tables of four along the walls, and long tables in the middle of the room. They need new high chairs. Oh yes, it seemed like Chef Ramsay was barking up orders in the kitchen, and the one waitress (bless her heart) was running around in ""Benny Hill"" mode, trying to make everyone happy. Yes, the meal was pricey, the service was fair (amazing enough), but the food was so delish! Try the braised green beans and the House Special (egg noodles with duck). Go during off-peak hours to avoid the ""Benny Hill"" antics.

been a while since I've been to Min's. Went 9/13. Use to love it. Now, it's average. Portions are cut in half. I had to get my own napkins. Service was poor and we were the only ones there at the time. I make Pad Thai at home and mine is better. So disappointed Not worth the price $$

Excellent food - especially the green curry w/tofu or chicken. The spicy eggplant is to die for... I feel the prices are fair for the area and the quality of food. But, if money is an issue - see the lunch specials... they are a bargain
