Overall

Worst experience ever with a medical clinic. My credit is being destroyed because of errors with insurance billing. They’ve refused to fix it for years!!! Go somewhere else if you want professionals.

I have been going to Mountain Medical for 3 years. It was a walk in
clinic, and is so advertised, but now they have had to change to appointments. Dr. Barnes is an excellent diagnostician, and works fervently to not only circumvent problems, but get you better, or where
you need to go. Pay attention to the care that you receive in this clinic, not the time. If you think you are going to waltz in and get a fast fix, you might want to revisit your thoughts. I have been in better hands then ever! Staff works very hard to get the loads of people in and out without compromising the care and quality.

WARNING: STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM MOUNTAIN MEDICAL!!! If I could leave no stars, I would've. I have had nothing but problems and issues with this place. It takes minimum 1 week JUST to make an appointment.. That is the amount of time it takes for someone to give you a call back. You can literally NEVER reach anyone on the phone.. It is ALL recordings. When I finally made an appointment (By physically stopping into the clinic to make one since no one called me back after 9 business days) You are greeted by one of the nastiest, short-tempered front desk employees, Kathy. I stood behind a glass sliding door for at LEAST 8 minutes as she sat there typing on the computer. When she proceeded to slide open the door she had acted like you were bothering her. On the day of my appointment I saw Dr. Amy Jarrett, She is so sweet. She had prescribed me a low dosage antibiotic and had told me to give her a call back after two weeks and let her know if it is working or not. I had told her about my issues with not being able to reach anyone besides a recording when I call and she informed me to him "#4" and it will direct me straight to her. Two weeks the later, I actually had an outbreak/reverse effect of the antibiotic and wanted to let her know so she can prescribe me something else. Again, Can't get through on the phone.. I pressed "#4" and left a message for Amy. A week later, My mother went in to schedule an appointment, because like myself, she can never get a hold of anyone. I had informed my mother that I have not received a call back and my face was getting worse. I was on the phone with her as she approached "KATHY" behind the sliding doors.. After waiting about 5 minutes before she even acknowledged her.. My mom was very low keyed and simply told Kathy that I have been waiting a week for a call back about my antibiotic and no one has called me back. Kathy then proceeded to get extremely rude with her saying very loud "WE HAVE OVER 6,000 PATIENTS, SHE WILL GET TO YOU WHEN SHE CAN" She then asked my mother for my name and phone number and said she would give it to Amy.. THIS WAS OVER A WEEK AND A HALF AGO, STILL NO PHONE CALL. I have now been waiting 2 and a half weeks just to talk to someone about my antibiotics. My whole family goes to this doctor, all five of us.. and this was the final straw. We are all tired of having issues getting appointments and having to deal with Kathy at the front desk. We have all found a new doctor. I advise you to do the same.
