Gouffon Moving & Storage Co

Excellent experience moving item from furniture store to office. The set up was quick and efficient, even on same-day service. The movers were prompt, friendly, and communicated throughout. Great service and great price.

Due to family, we moved from Knoxville, TN to Atlanta, GA (Alpharetta, GA)

Sold ~ 4,000 sq/ft house June 2015. Wrote detailed scope of work document and sent out to/and received bids form 5 Moving and Storage Companies for the following services:

1. put 80% of household goods in storage until we found a home in Alpharetta

2. move remaining household goods into an apartment (1,200 sq/ft) in Knoxville

3. once we found a house in Alpharetta, move all furniture from storage and apartment into Alpharetta home



. After review and checking references (including my wifes real estate associated) we selected Gouffon MSC.

We made the correct selection. They provided all of the services we requested:

!. moving us out of the old house and into an apartment on the date and time promised

2. properly storing house goods for six months

3. working with us on ever changing move-in date in Alpharetta, GA home (once we purchased the Alpharetta home, we did three weeks remodeling work and everyone knows contractor completion dates are always changing)

4. handling our household goods and home (wall, floors, etc) with respect and care when moving from and into each location.



On the agreed moving date, Gouffon loaded our household goods in storage on to a truck, moved us out of the Knoxville apartment and headed to Alpharetta, GA. The next day the truck was unloaded in Alpharetta and we were "in."

We appreciated that Gouffon worked with us in a very professional manor to make the moving of our household goods from Knoxville, TN to Alpharetta

I was fortunate enough to have Gouffon Moving Co. move me in April and I have to say that I have used other moving companies, but I was 100% satisified with the professionalism and hard working men that moved me. They didn't take a break until everything was loaded (and it took 2 trucks and 4 men) and I feel that they went above and beyond what I thought was even possible. They were on time and and they were very polite and never complained one time about how heavy or how much stuff I had! I am staying at a temporary place and when I get to a permanent place, I will use them to move me a second time. I hope to get the same team of Gary McElhaney. I would highly recommend this moving company to anyone.

Great moving experience, again. This being the third time we used Gouffon since 2008. Each time, they have exceeded my expectations. The staff was prompt and professional through out, from the packing to the actual moving.

I worked with Gouffon Moving and Storage recently, was more than satisfied with the service. The office staff was very easy to work with, and the cost of the move wound up being less than the original quote. They were on time the day of the move, and the movers were very polite and professional. I've had bad moving experiences before, but their staff made the transition into my new home an easy one. Would definitely recommend their service.

I worked with Eddy at Gouffon... got a quote that seemed high, told him I wanted to make sure I was getting a fair price, told him I was going to get a second opinion. A week passed while I got another estimate. In the end, I decided to use Gouffon due to what I thought was better insurance and reviews. When I contacted Eddy again, HE DENIED ME SERVICE and wouldn't help because I'd made him angry by second-guessing the estimate! Geez, better walk on eggshells and not anger the almighty Eddy or it's "No move for you!". How do I rate them negative stars???

I have used Gourffon moving and storage not once but twice for moving. Not only did they beat everyone elses price, their service was professional, safe and courteous. The movers went above and beyond to make sure my move was smooth. I will defintely use them again if a move is ever in my future and highly recommend them to my friends and family!

I have used several different movers through the years. Gouffon was by far the best. They were on time, courteous, hard working, and at a very fair price. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a mover.
