I have been associated with one of the therapists for 20 years. I have worked at two of the places she has worked. I was also a patient. I am simply amazed at how this center works with the at-risk population. Recently divorced and suffered some depression. I wanted my son to see some-one. Colvin Idol was suggested. My child did not believe in counseling and didn't trust any-one. I bribed him for one visit. He has really came a long way. He smiles and gets out of bed and expresses his feelings. He stands up for himself and is now living life instead of existing. He actually says I feel better when we leave and I get to enjoy him as he shares with me on the way home. I remember Colvin Idol from Public T.V. I Had no idea he was doing more for the people in our community. His wife Saroj Chand is remarkable as well. She is from India and very much an advocate for women, children and men. I have been recently aware of the Anger Management Group. I have known of several people ordered by the courts. For those that really want to change, they offered individual counseling. It seems through the grape-vine and personal experiences, the men feel they are really learning something, they never understood things as such as gesturing. They then begin to work on character defects, which we all have. Thanks! Alternative Counseling Center. You are indeed a refuge from many storms. Counseling is not for crazy insane folks, It is at it's best for those those of us who know we need a little help! Tracy We have two blessings in Knoxville The Honorable Bill Swann and Alternative Counseling Center If the Judge sends you here remember he really wants to see you make it!
My fiance and I had a great experience with rocky Hill Animal Hospital! We live in the area and had heard the bad things about it, but we have adopted 2 cats and had not found a vet yet. Chandler, one of our cats, started having diarrhea this past week and last not it got really bad so we need a vet quck and close this morning so we went there. The staff was friendly (not that fake sentiment that you see at some businesses), and were great with Chanlder and us. They explained everything well, and instead of doing all the test at the same time, they did them individually to try and keep cost low so that if one came back positive it might make the other ones unnecessary. One thing we found that was kind of funny, during the examination Dr. Jeter gave our cat a pop kiss on the head. He probably didn't even notice, but we that it was cute. The staff is very aware of the previous owners reputation (the Vet and staff are all new) and they said they are working hard to change it.
I arrived at UT Hospital in horrific pain around Oct. 13th.. We were a completely new family to this hospital. Someone ordered an MRI and a Dr. Wm Snyder met with my family to explain the situation. He did emergency surgery to remove a 1 1/2 inch cyst in my spine. When I woke up my pain was gone. I received excellent care from surgery to ICU to the 5th floor and on to a transitional care facility. Victor P. and Allyson Bakkan provided me with excellent care in ICU. RN's Salon, Suzie, Beverly, and Paul stayed on top of every situation along with being kind and helpful. Allen, Jordan, Kashondra, and Stevie were also kind, considerate, and helpful. Ms. Debbie Via, the RN over care management went about and beyond to make my move to transitional care go as smoothly as possible. I was very impressed with the quality of care I received while in their care. My husband and daughter (a nurse at another hospital) were also very pleased as well as impressed! Thank you UT!
