Rominos Pizza

Pizzerias that deliver fliers under hotel room doors ARE DANGEROUS. Ask your hotel front desk or concierge, they are not recommended. These establishments contract teenagers to illegally distribute these fliers under hotel room doors and advise them to run at the presence of hotel security. These poor teenagers are hired to commit a crime and when apprehended are trespassed and even arrested. Pizzerias that solicit under hotel room doors constantly change phone numbers and rarely provide a business address. These establishments have no accountability to quality or customer service. DO NOT GIVE your credit cards to these establishments as most are not even registered businesses and some have even been identified to operate out of houses or warehouses. If you need advise on a local or franchised dining option, please refer to your hotel front desk or concierge.

They put a flier under our door of the hotel we were staying at so we ordered a large pizza and a tossed salad. The very unfriendly person on the phone (why didn't I just hang up?) said they would deliver in 45 mins to an hour. An hour and a half later we called and she said the driver should be there soon (should have cancelled). Two hours later called again and she said the driver was in the lobby and we needed to pick it up (?). We get the food and the salad is warm, soggy and gross and the pizza is cold and also gross. What a waste of $27.00.

Ok, to be clear... my HUGE problem with this place is the customer service, (but the food wasn't very good either). I ordered a pizza, 2 dinners & a 2-liter at 9:15pm the delivery showed up one hour later (which is what they said, so no problem yet). I got back to the hotel room, opened the pizza & it was not what I ordered. I called Romino's & told them and her response was "well, I can send you out another pizza but it will be about an hour." I said ok. (mind you, this is 10:20pm). At 11:40 I called and she told me it would be another 30 minutes. I ask why & she proceeds to tell me that she only has one driver at the time. At 12:25 no pizza - I call to speak to the manager (he isnt in). I call (again) at 12:54am, & she tells me that it's getting ready to leave with another delivery. At 1:26 - STILL no pizza. I call (yet again) the girl is no longer answering the phone & a man answers. Guess what - she is gone & the man doesnt know anything about my replacement pizza, but he will be glad to send one out - it would be here in 45min to an hour! Remember, THIS SAGA STARTED AT 10:20PM - THREE HOURS EARLIER & I'M NOT EVEN COUNTING THE FIRST HOUR OF THE STORY!!!! Please dont get the impression that I'm a whiny customer - Ive waited tables, delivered pizza & am in sales. I understand things happen like screwing up the pizza on the original order. I didnt ask for anything unusual, just what I paid (good money) for. So here I sit at 2am hungry... I intend to call Joe (the store manager, from what they told me at least) tomorrow - not that it does much good to me now. One other thing, the flyer in the HIExpress said "family owned & operated", but when I asked when the owner would be in he kind of chuckled & said that it was a chain with other locations (he mentioned Miami as one). The problem is that most of their business is vacationeers like myself, & even though I vow not to eat there again, it's no big loss to them so this is my outlet. If you chose to eat there, good luck, but dont say I didnt warn you.
