I booked this hotel inadvertently through a Priceline "express deal" since it was the cheapest hotel in the area I selected that met the minimum requirements for a three-star hotel out of all the flashy names of upscale hotels they said I might get. The rooms have definitely been nicely updated, however, the outside of the hotel looks very dated and I think painting the orange doors a different and more modern color would do wonders to improve the look of the resort, but let's face it, the word spa needs to be removed from the hotel's name.



The outside of the resort does not really inspire much confidence when it comes to safety but it is nicely cared for and the three pools are rather large and have a decently tropical vibe. Once you enter your room, though the hotel feels much newer and they definitely did what they could to upgrade the rooms and make them feel as updated as possible. The furniture is pretty nice, the bathroom is good (although there was a stray straw on the floor that was not ours), and the bed is quite comfortable which is nice after a long day at Disney World.



One thing definitely worth noting about this hotel is its location. You cannot really get much closer to the main entrance of the Walt Disney World Resort unless you stay onsite which is a complete ripoff since these rooms would be twice as expensive there. All you do is make a right out of the hotel, follow the signs for Disney World, and you are there around five or so minutes later. You can even hear and kind of see some of Disney's fireworks from the hotel which can be cool or annoying depending on how you want to look at it. Overall this isn't the nicest hotel near Disney but it is certainly one of the closest and if you can get it for a good price then it's a pretty good choice, just don't expect much of a resort or spa.
