I went down to the Kirkland, Washington Walgreens to pick up some milk. The 2 gallon size milk was on 3 shelves 1%, 2% and Homogenized. Hiding the price of the 2 gallon prices were yellow tags with a BOLD $1.69 which was reasonable since it recently was on sale for $1.99 per 2 Gallon. Needless to say, the milk rang up at $2.69 per 2 gallon. The checker had the ""assistant"" manager check the price and he came back and said the fine print on the yellow tags said 1 Gallon and offered no apology. The 1 gallon milk was nowhere near the $1.69 tags and when I showed the ""assistant"" manager (Tori) he rambled about customers messing with the prices but made no effort to remove the prices until I mentioned FALSE ADVERTISING! which was when he removed the $1.69 tags which revealed the actual price of the milk. The $1.69 tags were stuck on so well that they broke up when he removed them which meant they probably weren't ""messed with"".
