We have bought appliances from this company for years and bought a gas stove for these people because they are local and we could get better service then from a big box store. A few years later we had a gas leak and the gas company told us they had to turn the whole house off until the stove got fixed. When I called Friedens service they told me they could not get to me for over a week. I spoke to the service manager and he said I must have broken it so it is not his responsibility to rush and get it repaired. I have never experienced someone in business with poorer customer service skills. They said they don't care if they lose my business.

I called this company to repair my dead refrigerator. They came the same day and was able to repair the refrigerator for much less than I expected. The service man was very nice. Great job!

I just had a horrible experience with this store and after talking with other people I am not the first and by far have not had the worst situation. A friend of mine purchased a refrigerator that he tried to have serviced but come to find out that the appliance had the model number tag taken off which means that it was not to be sold by a dealer. Basically they sold an appliance and made 100% profit and she cannot get parts for it because there's no way to find out what the complete model is only what was written on the reciept which didn't help her at all. After some more searching I found a woman who purchased a washer and Feidens cut the ground terminal off the cord which is illegal and when the person called to ask about it he was told basically...tough. Just be aware when you purchase from them that you might get a bit more than you asked for...or less.

I bought a new Samsung range April 2011 from Feidens spent $1200..Exactly 15 months later I had to call them with a problem in which their repairman stated that it was a design problem in the range..It cost me so far $97 for them to tell me that, than 4 days later they called to say the new part would be $79 which of course is off of warranty,plus I had to give them my credit card # over the phone before they would order the part..Disappointed to say the least! Feel taken!

Worst Customer service

Feiden"s sales staff is very arrogant. They dont care whether you buy from them or not. They tell you they are the best and if you dont like it, go somewhere else. Even if you become interested in buying an appliance from them, they they start adding extra's on your bill... Like, oh you want it to work when we deliver it, then you need to purchase this item or that item, then of course its over 100.00 to install you appliance, and if you want the old appliance removed, you have to disconnet everything yourself and pull it out for them just to cart away, otherwise, that is another fee.

I am a person that likes to support local businesses, so I went to Feiden's and have gone to Feiden's for my appliances in the past. However, they now feel that they own everyone, and they have a supperior attitude the minute you walk in.

They told me to go to Lowe's to buy your stuff, they will do the samething, well sorry to tell you, but they did not do the samething. They respected me, and were upfront with all costs in buying a dishwasher and a gas range. In a month or two, I will be purchasing a Refriderator and I will not even check Feiden's, I will go directly to Lowe's.

You always here how local businesses suffer because of Walmart, and big box stores, but even when you try to buy local, they give you such poor service, you cant buy from them. It's not the Walmart's that are the local stores problems, its the attitude of the local store.
