Goddard Systems operates The Goddard School for Early Childhood Development, which offers a foundation to encourage a child s lifelong love of learning. It is network of private pre-schools tailored to meet the developmental needs of students in this age group. Headquartered in King of Prussia, Pa., Goddard Systems licenses more than 160 franchised schools in nearly 25 states. Goddard franchisees share a common entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to providing childcare in their communities. Each school is a licensed childcare facility with an on-site owner, an education director and a staff trained in early childhood education or childhood development. Goddard Systems provides continuing education for all teachers as well as a corporate quality assurance program. The company began operations in 1986 and started franchising in 1988.
