Shari's Restaurant

The reviews are old. The food and service were standard (good) like all the Shari's in the local Portland area.

Do not ever eat here! When walking in the door we were greeted and seated right away. She took our drink order. We waited about 10 minutes before receiving our drinks. Another 20 minutes to give our order. Another 15 minutes to receive our food. I ordered pancakes, 1 egg and bacon. The bacon was burnt, really burnt. My egg was freezing cold. The pancakes were burnt and crispy. Nothing fluffy about them. My fiancee at salmon which was alright, too much seasoning. Baked potato which was hard as a rock. Veggies which were mushy and just disgusting. The only thing that was good was their salad. I was given a "free" piece of pie, "on the house". However when I went to pay my bill they charged me for the egg and bacon which I DID NOT eat. The service was horrible. The cook that was working there looked like he was 12 years old. We noticed him grabbing hot fries with his bare hands, itching his head, touching papers, wiping his hands on his pants.
