K-1 Lube and Tire

I had a good experience at K-1 Lube and Tire yesterday with my 2005 Honda Pilot. My Honda dealership replaced a starter earlier that morning then told me that my brakes needed to be changed (all 4). Since I had the front 2 brakes done by K-1 a year earlier something didn't sound right, so I took it back to K-1 to have it inspected and use their lifetime warranty if need be. The mechanic took my wheels off, inspected and showed me the brake pads. The ones K-1 installed last year were still good. The rear pads needed changing so they gave me a Hell of a Deal and with less than an hour wait it was done. Now my Pilot brakes perfectly. There's no price for piece of mind, and I'll return for future repairs. This is a no frills place that does good work. The name implies just Lube and Tire, but the shop can do about any repair. You get personal attention without the "up-sell" from dealerships. It was good to interact with the mechanic at different stages of the repair. Good job K-1 and I will be back with any future repairs.

I would give this place negative 5 stars if I could. I came for an oil leak. After $175 later I still had a huge oil leak. Came back and told me I should be good. Unless buying 2 gallons of motor oil a good is good, then I guess I am good. I either got ripped off, or these mechanics are lazy, or incompetent. Thrives, stupid, or lazy. They can decide what they are. Never again will I go to this place. I had an honest mechanic back home, but since being stationed here, I have not found an honest mechanic.

owner picked up said he spoke korean couldnt even understand what he was saying at all. fire the korean guy employ more americans that are fluent in the language of english

BAD BUSINESS !! I'm a female so I don' t know much about cars but when I went to this place and got a used tire I pointed out that the tire had small cracks . The owner and his assistant looked at the tire an said it was ok so I left. A week later while driving on the highway the tread came from around the tire and damaged the fender, the underside of the bumper, tore out the windshield wiper pump and bent the windshield fluid container. I took my car to them the next day bc my insurance company concluded that he sold me a defective dry rotted tire but the first thing the owner said was that's not my tire and I didn't sell it to u .. he also said that there's no warranty on used tires. Duh! But the used tire still should not be defective. (By the way... the sign outside his building says warranty on ALL services)He denied everything even ... t know much about cars but when I went to this place and got a used tire I pointed out that the tire had small cracks . After going back n forth the owner put a different tire on which looks just as bad an told me to leave! I'm taking him to small claims court because I have about 2000 dollars worth of damage.He didn't even have the deciency to apologize. I do not recommend going to this place

This shop is a joke! I had some work done with them and they did such shotty work and then did not want to stand behind their mistakes and so called warranty they give you!! The owner is a Korean who can barely speak English and the only thing he seems to know how to say properly is how much money the work is going to cost you and that he takes credit cards. The last mechanic he had said he was hired off the street and he did the work on my car. The shaft that they replaced and the breaks they did ended up going back and damaging the rotors and caused major problems and ended up having to cost me the job all over again elsewhere. I showed him the shaft he put on and that I had to buy another one and told him to refund my money on the part and labor and he said NO NO I can no do that! Crooks and very unprofessional work! DO NOT GOTO K-1 LUBE AND TIRE as they will jack up your car and your wallet! BOYCOTT this business and people like him will get the message that if you want to be in the car repair business especially here in America, best get it right cause we don't taking screwing our pockets lightly and we will refuse to do business with you anymore! Hurt him where it will hurt by not going to his place of business and having any work performed with them!
