Dr. Kahn has always been a pleasure. Recently I had the worst experience, it was time to put my senior cat to sleep, I paid for it and the group cremation upon the office manager, Denise explaining I'll pick up my cat in two weeks. It's been three weeks and I was just told by Denise herself that she in fact never told me that I'll be getting her back. That with the group cremation she doesn't come home, this was never explained, as I stated I was told in two weeks time she'll be ready, so, throughout my ridiculous profanity littered screaming I get so many "I'm sorries". I'm sorry doesn't bring my pet back, or in any way fix what you've done. I cannot understand this womans lack of compassion in one of my biggest times of need, I cannot believe the lack of professionalism for paid service, I cannot believe that I stood in your office crying my eyes out that you had it in you to lie to me with my credit card in your hand. How dare you, do this to me or anyone else. I'll be seeing you and the doctor on Tuesday, Denise. I pray to God nobody ever experiences this, as if losing Mouse wasn't bad enough, you made it even worse. Thanks alot Lakeshore

Truly cares about patients.

I had to put my sick 12 year old dog down. My brother recommend this place, from when he had to put his dog down a few years ago.
Soon as we walked in, the lady was so in-personal and rude. She knew my kids and I where there to put down our dog. She kept asking questions over again that I just answered over the phone, while I'm dealing with crying kids and crying myself. Had us wait a half hour in the front lobby but we had a scheduled appointment. Put us in a small hot room with no ventilation while we waiting another 15-20mins for the veterinarian. When he came in he said okay I have 2 injections I will inject. I made him to explain what he was doing because we had no idea. He was just going to start the injections without explaining.
From the time we 1st walked in to the time we left, we didn't hear any kind of condolences or concern to our feelings. A week later I received my dogs ashes In a plastic box not a wood box that they said I would receive like the box my brother got.

I brought my little dog there for 3 years, but he couldn't stand the vet and I don't blame him. Anyone grabbing me hard, jabbing me with needles would be on my list of people I don't like! I got a second puppy and I see the same habits forming, so I broke the cycle by going to a new vet that has a good bedside manner at Wolf Animal Hospital.

Lakeshore vets always put me on hold for 10mins, hung up on me and just were bad business. Not recommened
