My daughter attended Victoria's. The best thing about Victoria's is that they accept student aid. The finacial adviser was VERY helpful. Overall the education was good. She finished the cosmotology school and went back for the extended esthetician portion. She really liked this instructor.
If you choose to attend this cosmotology school, I would recommend you DAILY have the instructor sign your personnal day planner with the hours that you attended.
I would have given more stars, but BEWARE!!!!!! The greatest complaint among the STUDENTS was the mysterious missing hours. If a student does not complete their contract on time, it costs the student $10/hr for missing hours. Days would mysteriously disappear from my daughter's attendence. She will end up paying an extra $10/hr for at least an extra 150 hrs.
The catch is that the school holds back a portion of the student's aid "just in case" they don't complete by contract. This way they are assured the extra money.
I was saddened when I read your review. The only way a student has to pay an extra $10/hr upon completion is if they have missed more than 12 days during their training and never have made up those days. Attendance is kept on a computer so no students hours can disappear. We have never held any students aid, we would have to have written permission from the student to do that. I am so glad your daughters education was good, we work hard to give our students a great education and experience. I wish you would give me a call, I think there has been some poor communication and I would really like to get it cleared up. Thank you...Victoria Kile
