I'm Scott, the owner of Plato's Closet here in Kennewick. I appreciate the feedback that is posted here and we act on the things we read. First on the buying: We buy EVERYTHING we think we can sell. We are more concerned with style and condition then anything else. There are times that customers bring in a stack of jeans that are in perfect condition but the wash (color) of the whole stack is not a current style. For example, if the jeans are a light stone wash, they will not sell, regardless of the brand. In that situation, we do not unfold every pair of jeans, when a glance tells us the style (color) will not sell. We have gone through thousands and thousands of buys, and have become quite efficient. From an outsiders view, it may not look like we are taking enough time, but again, we WANT to buy EVERYTHING that we think we can sell. Customer service is always an issue, and always something that any business can improve on. Our goal is to greet every customer within 10 seconds of entrance. I know that we fall far short of 100%, especially when it is busy. For this I apologize. Recently we have added a position on the floor we call "Customer Focus." Hopefully this addition will help customers know how important they are to us. It is impossible to be perfect at customer service, but we are always trying to improve. If your experience was not up to expectations, please contact me directly at: platosrocks at gmail dot com. Regards, Scott
Ive been to a few platos closets in Arizona when I lived there, I came here and discovered there was one so I checked it out and it wasn't bad. I found some good buys there. It definitely wasn't like the ones in AZ , but I still would go back to buy more.
I love the colored tag system they do in Kennewick
