Hudson Grille

We'll give it another try, but we weren't overly impressed with our first visit. I expected to walk in and smell food, but it smelled a bit like dirty mop water. But the menu offers a lot of variety and we need more places like this in Kennesaw. So I hope they're working out the kinks and turn it into a neighborhood hit.

Food was fine. They seated us and took our order 15 minutes later. The food runner brought my husbands food and in the time it took them to bring everyone else's order, my husbands food was cold. He could have eaten his entire meal before we got ours. They brought my chicken tacos that were nothing more than chicken and lettuce; they were missing tomato, bacon, crunch onions- you know, all the good stuff! The food had to go back. A few minutes later, the waiter took a kids cup from another table to refill it. He brought it back and put it down in front of my almost two year old who immediately started drinking from it.... GROSS! I really don't want my toddler drinking after a stranger. We told the manager and she laughed out loud about it. Not a laughing matter if you ask me. No one offered so much as an apology for the ridiculous time we had to wait to order, the food coming out separately, the kissing cupcake, or much less my child drinking after a stranger. Careless, lazy, whatever you want to call it. Not even a third of the tables were full. It was very slow when we were there (3 pm). Of course they didn't give us the cupcake that came with my daughter's kids meal, which we paid for. We won't be back.
