Truck #48 just broke my windshield by the dollar tree warehouse in ridgefield. Called dispatch and they said they pulled the driver over to check his load and that he would call me back. Never called back. I called him and he said it's the end of the day and he doesn't have time for this and that there's no way the rocks left their truck. He told me to prove it and refused to give me his insurance information. Asked me which part of the truck the rocks came from. Told me the driver checked on the problem himself so there's no way the it was his fault... some kind of messed up logic there like he's going to admit fault. Dispatch also said they would give me the name of a good glass company but not their insurance info! What a joke of a company! I've seen them on the backroads by amboy avoiding the scales too!

I merged onto I-5 right behind one of his trucks and witnessed multiple rocks flying off the load, one of them hitting and cracking my windshield. I called and spoke with his people and they said they would call back with info. 3 hours later and no callback so i call in again. Turns out his truck driver is claiming that although his driver was where we said he was at the time, and that he was carrying a gravel load, that it was impossible that a rock from his truck hit out car and it "Must have been a rock from the road". Long story short, despite having another witness to the event, he wont pay for repairs. Told me to take him to small claims court. Crooks if you ask me.
