Rigid About NFL Sunday Ticket
I am a huge Packers fan and up until last week I was able to catch the Packers games here in KC at Tanner's. Last week when I went the bar was fairly empty, and many games were on but the Packers were not on any of the TVs. I nicely asked the waitress if she could turn one of the smaller TVs (that nobody was watching) to the game and she said ""all the games should be on."" I said that they were not ... and she said 'well we aren't allowed to turn the channel on any of the TVs.' I asked if I could speak with the manager and she said 'it won't change anything' ... so I nicely said 'then I guess we are not staying.' We left and I will NEVER go back. A sports bar that will not accomidate its regular sports fans on Sunday is NOT a real sports bar. Maybe someone should tell all the waitresses prancing around in jerseys that there are REAL sports fans that go to their bar because they have beer, food, and NFL Sunday ticket ... if they want their game on and it is not going to bother anyone else then they should be accomidated. Sorry Tanners, you lose out on a number of customers who have been attending your establishment ever Sunday for 2 years.
