My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at the Plaza and dined at Brio. We decided to take our time for dinner and ordered an appetizer and shared a bottle of wine. When it came time to order our meal we both requested whole grain penne. Our dinner came with the wrong noodles and it was no big deal but our waitress took our food back and apologized several times.
We decided to exchange cards and the manager, Matthew, came to apologize for the mistake and he said our food would be out soon and that they would not charge us for our meal. We were very appreciative! Within a few minutes later he came back with 2 glasses of champagne and said "no anniversary is complete without a little bubbly!". We couldn't believe it, we're just a young normal couple enjoying our anniversary dinner. Our food came and it was delicious!
Our waitress, Amy, came to see if there was anything else we needed. My husband said we were ready for the check and she said that it was ALL taken care of. My eyes started to tear up-I was blown away by their service (and food!). So we had a bottle of wine, appetizer, champagne, entree and dessert all taken care of by the manager. Now, I know this is a rare occurrence and we were an exception. But because of the wonderful service our 6th anniversary was one we'll always remember and be thankful for. Thank you Brio!!!
I chose this restaurant for my birthday dinner and did not end up staying because of the horrible customer service. The hostess was not friendly and very rude. The staff at this restaurant were very pretentious and made us not feel welcome. I would not recommend this place!

It was 4 of us who went there for sunday brunch. The downstairs wasvery nice and very clean. We decided to sit outside upstairs and you can seat yourself if something is open. We waited 2 minutes and a table was open. The outdoor area was really well designed with just enough sunlight hitting you that woldn't make you wanna get up and leave.
The waiter was very professional and friendly. We sat down right away, The service was average though because 3 people got their soup and salad and I didn't get my fruit with my pancakes, and I didn't get my syrup until I was pretty much done with my pancakes even though I asked for it. The guy just seemed a little confused but he wasn't rude at all. The pancake was average, made with margerine not butter. My friends said their food was delicious.
If you want somewhere mellow and still romantic then I would really recommend this place, if you're really a^al and picky then not your place.
