The buffet was 2 slices of pizza & a salad bar. Waited about 10 minutes, asked for more pizza. Waited another 10 minutes, asked for the manager but no one came out. Finally did talk to her but she didn't care about the wait. we were told other customers orders came first before the buffet, didn't apologize for the wait. If you have 2 hours for lunch it might work out!
OK, I admit I am not by any means a true pizza connoisseur. In fact, I didn't even like pizza, until one day to satisfy the whim of my wife I found myself at Godfather's. The scrumptious appearance and aroma of her pizza enticed me into sampling a taste, and from that point on I was hooked!
Since that fateful introduction to the delights of pizza, I have enjoyed this heavenly concoction at most of the well-known chains, at hole-in-the-wall pizza joints and fancy establishments, and in various countries including Italy. Always I find myself comparing what I am consuming to Godfather's Pizza, and more often than not, Godfather's comes out on top.
Godfather's offers three kinds of crusts --- original, which is the thickest, golden, and thin crust. My far-and-away favorite is original. True to their advertisements, they really do pile on the toppings, unlike many places where you may be hard-pressed to find more than one piece of pepperoni or sausage per slice! The variety of specialty options from taco to barbeque provides something for almost all tastes, and if their buffet doesn't happen to have exactly what you are looking for, I have found the staff more than willing to cheerfully cater to my whims (e.g. original crust, pepperoni and mushrooms on the whole, half sausage, half bacon, garlic butter instead of tomato sauce, and a few sunflower seeds sprinkled on top!).
This friendly and accommodating attitude of the staff is one of the main attractions of Godfather's, and I am often amazed that in the midst of what can be a very hectic buffet rush, they can still greet and serve me with a smile.
I am not a salad-eater, so I can't say anything about their saad bar, other than to mention that my wife and others I take there seem to enjoy it.
One thing I am less than enthusiastic about at this location is that the smoking section is not really separated from the non-smoking. However, to be fair, my wife (who is quite sensitive to smoke) and I have not had cause to complain when we sit away from the smoking section boundary.
Oh, and one last little detail: Godfathers is one of the only places I know of that offers caffeine-free diet pop! This is especially welcome when we are enjoying the dinner buffet!
Excellant place. They have a great lunch buffet.Very reasonably priced.Try this place you'll like it.Good place for a group gathering.
