I have nothing good to say about them!! As a landlord who turned my property over to them when I moved to the mainland, I know how it should be handled. They talked a good talk but never walked it! I am a property owner and stott was my first property management company. I didn't know how unprofessional they really were until I terminated my contract with them and began dealing with other property management companies. I won't go into the problems they caused me, but I would recommend you find another company.
As a warning to other owners and potential tenants, stott is unreliable and unprofessional operation, I would not recommend them at all.
This Stott Agency are the rudest people I've ever encountered. Here is my story: \r
First, it is extremely difficult to get a hold of them to just schedule an appointment. Then when they finally call us back, they don't work after 4:30, and they don't work on the week end. Fine, we arrange for a weekday, office hours appointment, even with busy work schedule. When the day comes, the guy does not even show up, or call ! When I call the office, they say that I am not on the schedule...view more, and they cannot give me his phone number, so basically she may give him a message, but for today, too bad if you left work early, too bad if you arranged for all schedules to match. \r
And the day after, the guy does not even call back !! So when I call back, they make it sound like I am the rude one, and they don't want to talk to me, and please don't call anymore. \r
I am totally astonished at the attitude of the people in this agency. They totally do not care about the people who are calling, and when you call, frustrated that you never are able to get an appointment, they give you the attitude, and turn the whole situation around, saying that you are the rude one. \r
I actually would hate to rent a house from them. Can you imagine if your washer broke or something? It takes a week to just get a hold of them, and then, they could make it sound like you broke it or something.view less
