I don't usually leave reviews, but after yesterday's visit, I felt I needed to. I took my dog Rocky in to get seen for a bacterial infection. While I was there, I asked if they could trim his nails. He goes to a groomer usually, and does great with her, but she was unavailable today. The Dr. placed Rocky on the table and clipped the first nail. Rocky immediately began to howl, which he's never done before when getting his nails cut. The doctor continued to clip Rockys nails, all while rockys howls became increasingly louder. I looked over at Rockys feet, and noticed that there was blood coming out of each nail. I then asked him to stop cutting, because he was obviously hurting him. The doctor told me that he wasn't going to be stop, because Rocky was just throwing a tantrum, and that he was fine. At first, I believed him until I brought Rocky home and looked at his nails. On each nail, the quick was cut. The quick contains nerve endings and blood vessels, and if cut, it is extremely painful. The dr tried to make me believe that Rocky was just being aggressive, when really he was screaming because he was in pain!!I will never be going there again, and I suggest you don't either.
