My son had counseling through his school from Life Strategies. I do not have any complaints with the counseling, but when it was time for his annual review, they basically kicked him off because I could not come before 3:30. I explained that I was completing my internship for teaching and I could not get there at that time. I offered to come by 4:00 or let someone else bring him in my place, but they said the Doctors do not stay that late and it has to be a parent. I thought these people were supposed to consider my child's best interest. It is certainly not in his interest for me to blow my internship. Life strategies showed total disregard for my child's best interest and failed to make simple accommodations to keep him as a client. I do not recommend them at all.
