PRIMARY CARE: Family Practice physicians provide health maintenance and coordinate the care you receive from specialists. It is important to have a primary care physician to care for the whole patient, not just a specific area. DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES (LAB AND X-RAY): Laboratory services and x-ray facilities are available on site. Patients from our practice as well as the community can have these services performed close to home. You must have a physician''s order and can usually be seen on the same day depending upon the studies ordered. URGENT CARE: We treat unexpected illnesses including colds, fevers, stomach aches and the flu. We also take care of injuries including lacerations, minor fractures, and encounters with the local flora and fauna by our residents as well as vacationers. In fact, we mend broken vacations. We take care of most issues at our office without having to travel to Charleston and we help patients get back to their vacations or daily lives expeditiously. WORKSITE PARTNERS: Our physicians are occupational health providers and we work with Worksite Partners to provide excellent care for injured workers. We strive to have good communications with the employers and to get the employees back on the job as quickly as is medically appropriate to minimize lost time at work. We also perform pre-employment, post-injury and random drug screening for those employers in the area who have a drug free policy.
