I have utilized Grants Creeks services for yard maintenance for over the past two years and the degradation of services is literally laughable. The landscapers have damaged my Seegar's fence not on one occasion but on two separate occasions. The damage was so bad that both gates had to be replaced. The landscapers continue to do a mediocre job. They leave tracks in the yard, mow the yard unevenly and it is common place that excess loose grass in left atop of my yard. I have brought every issue to management's attention via phone calls, emails with pictures, etc. and corrections are made but not sustained. In my subdivision I am the only resident that utilizes a professional landscaper and my yard looks as though teenagers cut it. The once good service has went down hill and management hasn't made any changes to ensure that the landscapers do not make the same mistakes each week when they mow my grass. Very dissatisfied with their service and I recommend that you keep looking.

Grants nursery was recommend to me from a contractor. I needed a a lot of work done on my home and wanted some thing original, beautiful, low maintenance!!

I had Thomas help me come up with a plan and ensured me that things would work out! Prices were high on plants and I made it very clear that I wanted matured plants and not first year plants for that price.....

Ok contract written out and my jod is close to 4,000.00 I paid have up front. I also wanted this job done ASAP Thomas told me," 3 days top". Well that did not happen!!! When they decide to work on my yard they send out 3 boys (just out of high school) they start working....

I thought I was paying for a professional landscaper that is what they charged me for??? The Boys then Finnish up the work took 10days to do. I then find sooooooo many mistakes! I then call Thomas to come back and fix the mistakes. Thomas did not come back for 4 weeks. He did fix my problems but still unhappy with the seedlings vs mature plants. He said they usually give the mature plant to contractors. I also send pictures to the supervisor and they never responded to the photos or at one time they send out a supervisor or call me about the plants.

Anyways.... The job was completed at the end of July. Well when it came to payment they were sure quick to ask for payment.... They never offered an apology or a discount for the the plants or the weeks it took to finis the job. When I look at my yard all I can think about is how Grants Nursery left me with unfilled expectations. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I think you would get better service with a smaller company. Or hire teen boys down the street to landscape your yard and buy your plants at K-mart.

In late 2009, we moved into new construction with an approx. acre empty lot to work with. We researched online numerous landscaping companies and contacted by phone/ email/ and in person several nurseries (within Jacksonville, Hubert, Cedar Point, and Cape Carteret) indicating we were interested in landscaping. Grants Creek Nursery was the only entity who really made the effort to respond or work with us.

Since 2010, Grants Creek Nursery has laid attractive paver walkways & island borders, installed a front- & backyard drip-line irrigation system, and planted a multitude of hearty trees, shrubs, and flowers. Additionally, Grants Creek Nursery provided timely and exceptional grounds-keeping type services throughout my husband’s deployments.

Within their nursery office, Meredith has been great to work with. All of her plant and landscaping ideas, designs, and suggestions have been lovely & have truly enhanced our yard. Unlike numerous other nurseries within the area that we have visited, Meredith with Grant’s Creek, has been extremely patient and has answered our multitude of questions; she even took the time to show me around the substantial nursery grounds to show me some of her plant suggestions.

Although there might be less expensive nurseries/ landscapers available (why I rated this 4-stars & not 5), I would highly recommend Grants Creek Nursery based on the outstanding work and customer service they have provided for us thus far.

I called Grants Creek to ask a question, the lady was very rude and hesitant to assist me. When I went up there to tag a tree I purchased for my yard, I had to ring the bell a few times over about 10 minutes, then call out for someone, then was treated like an interruption when someone appeared. The girl was extremely rude, very short with me and unwilling to take the time to answer my questions. After tagging my tree, I told the girl what kind I had picked and she not only corrected my pronunciation, she repeated it with such disdain for my lack of knowledge that I felt like telling her to keep the tree and keep her company off my property. Since, I have gone elsewhere for my landscaping needs.
