Called Saturday morning, and they were there before noon. They found my problem, fixed it, and were through in about an hour's time. Courteous, knowlegeable service technician.

Thigpen Heating and Air did a Lennox recall repair replacing the coils to my ac unit 5 years ago. Since my townhome was only 7 years old I hadn't done any maintenance on the unit. I recently moved and had to rent out my unit. I wanted to ensure everything was working fine so I scheduled a maintenance with Waycroft. The poor technician went to unscrew the cap expecting a pressure cap below to prevent the loss of the coolant, to find that the cap had been broken off when the prior technician replaced the coils and the coolant came shooting out. The Waycroft technician was shaken because he was almost injured by the coolant.



I then contacted Thigpen to come out and correct the broken piece as well as replace a few parts that were showing time to replace. I emailed the invoice and statement to Thigpen from Waycroft. All I was asking for was to have the cost of fixing the broken cap and replacing the coolant lost covered because of the Thigpen technician's error. The other parts that required replacing were normal wear and I fully expected to pay for the work and parts. After a few calls I spoke to the Manager Mike. Mike clearly only cared about money and quickly insinuated I was lying and someone else had broken it.



I told Mike that I was trying to keep this situation at the lowest cost to Thigpen and that he had an opportunity to have a life long customer for routine maintenance, but that he was forcing me to get the work done with Waycroft then take Thigpen to court. Mike said that my threat wasn't very helpful. When I responded that it didn't help when he had already insinuated that I was a liar. He hung up on me.

Outstanding! Honest, knowledgeable and courteous service from the office to the technician. Plus same day service! After trying (and being ripped off) by many, I have now found an AC company I can trust. Thank you!!!

PERFECT! They were in and out in a day. They were kind, considerate and VERY polite! Cleaned up after themselves like they weren't ever here. I was so happy with their services I will be recommending them to friends and neighbors!

If you are a female, I would NOT recommend this company. They take advantage of women and are not up front with their pricing. My serviceman could not give me an up front cost on a thermostat, he had to go talk to his "boss". Also, the scheduling is a nightmare. I had to wait over 4 hours after they phoned to tell me the driver had 1 stop nearby and would then be on their way.

After dealing with an ac company and several techs.

I contacted Thigpen by the recommendation of a neighbor.

After explaining past problems they said they would send there lead tech.

We set An appointment for 8.AM the next morning.Troy their tech arrived promptly.

After approx 45 mins my ac was up and running and bill was less than expected.

The other company said i needed new unit. I'm glad i called Thigpen.

Returning from vacation to find a broken air conditioning unit is not fun. Finding it in the middle of July is even worse.



Good thing I called Thigpen. They responded to our home within an hour (it was 10 PM at night) and had us up and running within thirty minutes. The technician was knowledgeble, prompt and courteous. He found the problem quickly and repaired it instantly. Feeling the cool air blow through a house that was 88 degrees when I got home - and 78 before the technician left is priceless.



I've recommended Thigpen time and time again. In fact, when another company recently told my 70 year-old widowed mother that she needed 'major repairs', I called Thigpen for a second opinion. Not only did she NOT need a new unit, she didn't even have the issues the previous company diagnosed. A simple cleaning corrected the issue and my mom is now a proud Thigpen customer too.

Thigpen has done my work for the last 20 years and has never let me down. Just replaced my upstairs unit and reworked the ductwork...wow what a difference! Great price and my electric bill dropped $250.00!!!

Used Thigpen for a new system and new ducting in the attic and they were outstanding. Their price and their work were excellent! My electric bills are much lower. Also appreciate how Thigpen's workers cleaned up after themselves every day.

I have used Thigpen Heating and Cooling for more than 20 years and have had nothing but quick and reliable service. Last year I had Thigpen install a new high efficiency Lennox system in my home.Thigpen beat all of the other estimates that I received and my electric bill wend down about 30 percent.

Do not use Thigpen!!!! They do not stand behind the crap they sell. I purchased a brad new Tran unit 2 1/2 years ago for $4000+ dollars. I have had to call service 4 times costing almost another $1000. Sure the parts are still under warranty but they hit you with diagnostics, $69, coolant another $75. Even though they replaced a warranty part it cost $200 to have them show up and fix it.



Way to stand behind what you sell Thigpen!!!! You sell crap and then rip people off to fix it!!!!
