  I live near and have been dealing with H & W for 30 Plus years. Always gotten GOOD meat , custom cut steaks, & oysters there. To the above complaint about the size of bag of oysters, he knows little, I`m a River Rat that was raised on the rivers FISHING, crapping , and gathering oysters. NO one has sold a true BUSHEL of oysters in years, now days more than not , you get a 30lbs. box. I can remember it taking 2 of us to tote a BUSHEL . If you know anything about vegi baskets , just how big a Bushel is. Mr. Houston has never been anything but nice to me and my family. He has aged wild game and cut & wrap it for me at a VERY fair price. Wouldn`t go anywhere else>

  I paid for a half bushel of oysters and was cheated .

  I went to houston's meats located at 12545 n main street,jacksonville,fl 32218,on sat.13,20011.I paid for a half bushel of oysters and was cheated.I called monday to let them know without giving my name and he the said you're the women with the pretty red car and proceed to make excuses up to when I mention my daughter said to him the sack felt light so I asked for a manager he made excuses even after I told I didnt know there wasnt a half of bushel in the sack til the guys putting them on the grill told me.I guest customer get cheated,but I know this has a lot to do with the king pin in political government and the telephone company they are hiding behind.this isnt the only thing thats happen to me mostly by whites thats corrupted.insecure by little old me.
