Cattlemans Catch Restaurant and Market

My wife and I went there for dinner after going to the movies today. We had a really great time and very delicious food there. The price is relatively inexpensive and the amount of food you get is more than enough. Come hungry and be ready to bring home a doggie bag. The waitress was outstanding and we even had an opportunity to meet and have a sit down conversation with the owner Susan. We were looking for a place to have a family and friends gathering after my daughter's graduation from high school this coming June. We believe we have now found the right place for that event. They have a wonderful banquet room set aside just for those type of events. We are really looking forward to having our family and friends join us at Cattleman's for that joyous event. Cattleman's Catch is one of northside's finest and I reccommend it to everyone...

Went there today with my family to eat. If you have seen the pictures in their ad in the Mint Magazine - it looks good. Unfortunately the pictures in the ad are not of the food served there. In fact when I ordered a 16oz. prime rib and received a half inch thick piece of grilled meat, I showed the server the picture and she apologized profusely. She was very nice, I told her just to take it off the check, no big deal. Until some man came out of the kitchen to inform me that he cooks the prime rib "Pittsburgh" style. I told him that what I received did not look anything like what was pictured in the Mint Magazine ad, to which he replied "we don't use the Mint Magazine". I showed him the December Mint Magazine and his restaurant ad - he then claimed "those are not our pictures" - unbelieveable!



First off, I have cooked prime rib before, and have ordered it many times, and I have NEVER had a piece of meat like what I was served today. I have also cooked steaks "Pittsburgh" style - which means burnt on the outside and rare on the inside. Secondly, I don't like being lectured to by someone who doesn't even know where he advertises.



That same ad stated fresh steaks and seafood - I have a hard time buying that - probably another Mint Magazine mistake.

My husband and I had a delightful dinner at the new restuarant. Every bit of our food was good, no complaints. Waitress was seasoned and gave us great service
