Lee's Carroll's Meat Shoppe

I have purchased from Caroll's a few times. They run specials everyday and I deem them to have good prices. I love their homemade sausage, the spicy kielbasa for us and the availability of femur bones for my dog. I didn't like the quality of their charcoal steaks so I wouldn't recommend those as they were tough and I have tried them both times thinking that maybe it ws just that once. My husband asked me not to buy those again. Their pork chops are small (the ones that come in the meat package). I like my pork chops a little on the chubby side, not necessarily huge unless I am butterflying them to stuff but a good size but everyone has different tastes. The size you get here is almost paper thin. I wouldn't recommend those but the staff was more than eager to help me and quite friendly. They have a seperate meatcase where you can pick your own meat as well as the specials of the day. Call them to see what is the special of the day. They have a calendar at the checkout counter that lists all of the specials that they have for the month. They are fairly priced, way better than the grocery store chain rip off's. I am still shopping around to see which butcher shop will give me the best quality and value for the money that I spend because that is important to me. I would go back here at least for the homemade pan sausage and the spicy kielbasa if for nothing else. Happy shopping hope this review helped! :)
