From what I had heard I had great expectations but was disappointed. Despite a reservation we had quite a wait. I understand that people do not always vacate a table as quickly as expected but there is no waiting area. All seats at the small bar were occupied and the fact that they were serving food at the bar meant little, if any, turnover of these seats. Standing with a drink for 25 minutes of more was not a good start to the evening. The decor was drab to say the least and the floor, while probably clean, was worn and shabby and much in need of sanding and a coat of sealer to reduce dust if nothing else. Tables were very close together and the paper table cloth did not jibe with the linen napkins. On the positive side the menu was interesting with some interesting items. I ordered the lobster pot pie which was excellent but served barely warm. The waitress offered to have the dish "reheated". I am not sure lobster reheats very well so I settled for what I had. I will not be back and will settle for places like Ruth's Chris, the Wine Cellar or the 3 Forks in future.
Cliffs is a great place to go and eat, listen to a great band such as "Tytus Hale" and kick back and relax and enjoy. The waitresses are wonderful too. We have a wonderful time when we go there.
Came here to celebrate a very special anniversary. Loved the dim lighting and the art on the wall. The food was good & even though it was packed, it felt like we were the only ones there.
