The first technician came out replaced the part, left the washer partially disassembled and put the squeeze on my mother to buy more service contracts. After an irate call from me, I had a new technician out the very next day who was extremely nice and did the job. I have had appliances from Sears for many years and they seem to last forever. When I need a repair on any appliance I always call Sears and other than an overly aggressive sales pitch, I was very pleased and will call them again.

We have had a Whole House Maintenance Contract with Sears for 33 Years and have always had excellent service on our products. I like having one point of service and not having to call several people to make appointments, the cost of the Contract is very reasonable compared to having numerous separate repair visits. The products Sears sell are of good quality and durability.
The whole process was great. I was given a date for repair and a window of time. The repairman called in that window of time, arrived promptly and did the necessary repair quickly, thoroughly and with no mess. This is commendable as the freezer had to be emptied and reloaded. I was quite pleased and will contact Sears repair for my next repair need if needed.
