I stumbled on this store online and from the photos and reviews, I knew that we had to check it out. We recently moved to a new home, and had a terrible experience with a big box furniture store. Once that issue was resolved, we were back at square one and needed to buy living room furniture. We wanted something comfy, durable and welcoming. But leather options that we found in stores were limited - it was either bachelor black or white/light cream or dark brown. When we walked in Robin's store I was pleasantly surprised. We were greeted warmly, without the "salesman" type pressure. The store is a hidden gem and I was so impressed. It's not a large store, but all their pieces are high-quality and comfortable and if they don't have exactly what you need, they will track it down for you. :-) The leather also came in all colors and styles. My husband and I really liked two different sectionals, and after giving Robin the dimensions of the room, she checked availability and offered a competitive price. Her delivery guys were also very professional and didn't leave the home until the furniture was placed where I wanted. I am very impressed and thrilled that we found Robin's! I have already recommended her to friends and coworkers and I am sure we will purchase from her again!
Naturally, I was nervous about trying on wedding dresses and put it off for the first 6 months of my engagement. I was sure nothing would fit and the sales person wouldn't understand my goals. How wrong I was!! I was helped by Kaylee at Debra's Bridal Shop at the Avenues, and she went above and beyond in our time together. She assured me there was no reason to rush, she encouraged me to be open-minded, and by the end of it, I felt like I was shopping with a friend. Also, I should add, a floor sample did fit me and I was able to buy it then on the spot and even took home my dress that day. Debra's was a warm environment, filled with some of the best designers, and constantly running promotions. As a bride with a budget, I certainly appreciated it! My only tips would be to avoid going on the weekend as they have one "stage" that you have to share with other brides trying on dresses. On a weekday, this may be easier. Also, make sure you close the curtain to your dressing room, I came back to my room one time to find another bride's mother taking a dress from my room - it turned out to be THE dress!
This customer took the boat on a water test, The boat did NOT perform well. We made no excuses for the boat and we did not claim to know exactly what repairs needed to be done. He decided to buy it anyway. We did not pressure him to buy. The next day he decided he got a bad deal. There was a mix up on the model year of the motor. I offered him a $500. refund, that was the profit we made on the sale, he declined. This customer had every oppertunity to check out the boat before he bought. He signed the AS IS agreement. I think he mad at himself for not for not doing his homework. We put a warning on each boat that states that "information we have is provided to us by the boat owner and we cannot guarantee it's accuracy" I am sorry he is "pissed off" as we try to make all our customers happy.....
