I've been here a few times and have had a great experience every time. The food is good. If you grew up eating extra spicy lao papaya salad and need a fix, this is the place. This is the only asian restaurant that I've been to that makes papaya salad that rivals my mom's papaya salad. I've had their pad thai and panang curry. The panang curry is delicious, flavorful and they give you a decent helping. The pad thai was ok. I grew up eating it so I have high standards. This is a nice, clean restaurant with great service. I've always had great service here. The staff is helpful, patient and attentive. I ask a lot of questions and they have no problem answering them. Water was refilled regularly. There is a parking lot, there are always spots available since it's in a strip mall. I would recommend this place if you're craving thai food.
It all started with my Korean Dramas. Then we wanted to try a Korean Barbecue. My spouse found Sam Won Garden. We have never been disappointed. Lunch is the cheapest time to go. However dinner while more costly is awesome. Bulgogi truly is our favorite with the kimchi sets. OH what great kimchis they have to. We love the pickled radish, bean sprouts, cabbage, radish, cucumbers, zuchinni and others as they vary at different times. If you want a truly great Korean place to eat this is it. Give it a try but expect to pay $$ at night and at lunch if you just do a lunch special the high end of $. Happy Day!
This place is awesome. It is so beautiful inside that you'd think you were dining somewhere in Ponte Vedra. Very elegant. Most of all the food is geat and no where near the prices of any of the St John's town Center restaurants/Ponte Vedra. Great place to have a classy evening without breaking the bank. The portions are perfect and did I mention it taste great. Stemware, linen cloths and candle lights for dinner at a fraction of the cost. Did I mention the food is great. BTW the actual name of the restaurant is "Green Papaya" they sit facing the Hollywood Theatres in River City.
