My family and I are from Clarksville Tenn, and was home (In Jackson Tenn) for the weekend.Chose Cheddars to dine, and it was ridiculous!!The waitress was awesome, the managers had no clue!!Really the mangers were sorry but the waiters and waitress were great, what's really the problem??A manager came by and asked if everything was ok,and my husband replied and explained what the problem was and asked if he could bring him some warm food, and he replied,"if thats what you want me to do"!!(very sarcasticly), What?I'm for sure he wasn't trained to make a reply like this, but when our waitress returned we explained to her what was going on and she said,"Oh,I am so sorry, I will make sure everything goes well with your order", and within five to seven minutes she corrected the problem!!The manager returns a couple of minutes after and asked again if everything was ok ,and my husband said no,and the manager walked off!! So you see, you can train anyone for a mangers position, but that doesnt mean they are actually fit for that position,he shouldnt even be a waiter!!!He has the wrong job, But Daniel was great, should be a supervisor, very professional, and attitude was outstanding!!!!!!Go Daniel and thanks so much!!And this rating would have been a lot better if the manager would have been somewhere else other than Cheddars. But the food was great!
OMG! You've got to stop there. The Croissants are REAL ONES! The food divine, the service good, and the price so reasonable that if we lived closer, we'd be there once a week! We're from SW Kansas and driving through. The GPS took us to the closest steak house. We're still talking about the place. For you-all that don't know. A croissant is not a croissant if you can make a sandwich out of it. A real one is airy, extraordinarily flaky, hot, bits of deliciousness. A person can easily eat four of them. Try that with the doughballs usually passed off as a croissant! A chef who worked at St. Joseph's hospital in Denver, Co made them. He was later recruited to teach at a prestigious school. It has taken most of my adult life to find some. Williams Sonoma, the catalog people can send some. Or just go by Cheddars in Jackson!
I have not tried any other Rafferty's in other locations, but this one is managed very well, and must have top of the line cooks. I have eaten at different chains of other restaurants, and they are not the same by all means. This Rafferty's It is in the very top of choices to eat in Jackson, hands down. The salads, salmon, margaritas are to die for. The waitresses are at your table before you can ask for anything. It is a top notch establishment. One way I can aways tell if If I am picking a good place to eat If I am not familiar with the town, is if the local people have the parking lot full. If there are a lof of spaces empty, there is a reason for it.
