Tease

My over all rating stems from situations over a period of time and being naive enough to give too many "second" chances:
By all outward appearances, this appears to be a nice, homey salon, with genuine owner and workers. I, however have often left there with the stylist following her own preferences rather than the clients requests. I am always embarrassed to drive home because she styles it the way SHE likes it. It hasn't been a big deal before, I just restyle it when i get home. Recently I requested for my hair to be cut a "little bit" shorter. I had been growing out my hair and my bangs for a while and this was a tedious process. I showed her a picture of myself and the length I wanted. She waved it away and said "I know what you want". My hair is naturally curly...the average person, let alone a professional hairdresser, knows that curly hair SHRINKS up. She cut off at least 3 inches more than I wanted. I didn't realize how short it was until I got home. I couldn't leave the house for 3 days and am still embarrassed to go out in public. I let her know how unhappy I was...she continued to take my full payment and $20 tip I leave for all hairdressers, with no apology. I am heartbroken. My hair is my one decent feature and now it is ruined...until about several months from now until it grows out to the length I actually asked for. What a nightmare. Be VERY specific and persistent about what YOU want !!!
