We tried Stella's for brunch. Service was good, nice burger, great eggs and fun funky art on the walls. Not so bad right? So we decided to try it agian a few weeks later for dinner - BIG mistake!
The steak was over cooked, since when is ""medium"" charred? For my pasta dish, I opted to add shrimp for $4. I received under cooked pasta and cold over cooked veggies. How about those $4 shrimp? You guessed it! There were 4, which would have been fine if they had not been, the size of a nickle and taste like the bottom of the change jar at home.
Oh and the cocktails.....was the bartender blind? Did he think I didn't see him take that ""warm"" champagne from the ice bucket and pour it's FLAT contents into my ""Ithaca 79?"" He should have spent less time creating that spiral lemon peel and pikced up some fresh champagne.
The manager (???) was nice enough to take the steak off the tab but that didn't take away the bad taste in my mouth or put the $63 back in my pocket for flat booze and over priced mush they call food.
