Couldn't be happier with their care and compassion, Lizzy was great with my Heeler and really helped me to relax about the situation. She not only knew how to care for my best friend but also knew how to take care of my anxieties about the surgery.

I've taken my dogs here since I moved to Issaquah over 6 years ago, and have visited the ER with them several times as well. For the most part they're perfectly adequate and take good care of my pets. They are dramatically under staffed at night however and cannot deal with more than one walk in at a time which basically renders their "24 hour service" unusable unless no one else comes in when you do. They also can be extremely slow on filling meds, you may wait for upwards of 40 minutes waiting for prescriptions to be filled, and when sitting with a stressed pet who may be in pain or suffering this is deplorable. If you schedule an appointment things are a bit better, still slow and they take their sweet time discharging your pet. Despite all this my pets have never received unneeded care here nor have we ever been ripped off.

NOT recommended for your pet.

I was extremely disappointed with Alpine Animal Hospital. Our cat had a bladder failure, and was treated at Alpine for 3 days with little improvement. We later transferred him to a different hospital where we found that a urine test, a bladder ultra sound, and draining of the bladder would have allowed them to accurately and effectively treat our cat. Those simple tests and procedures were NOT done at Alpine, instead they proceeded to inject him with expensive medication that cost us $2100 for 3 nights. I felt that basic test would have alleviated his condition sooner and eliminated the need for so many medications.
Additionally, they failed to call when they said they would and were vague about their treatment. I felt that the hospital and the staff were very unprofessional with poor communication and treatment of our pet.
