        I recieved a gift certificate from my husband for Valentine's day for a facial and haircut. The facial room was gorgeous and spotless complete with a spa bathtub and shower. The service itself was excellent. I have recieved many facials all over the world and this was as good as the ones I have recieved in London. The hair cut was great they used the most wonderful smelling shampoo and the cut and style looked great. I am now a customer for life and I always ask for gift certificates for every holiday and birthday.

        I was completely surprised by the friendliness and cleanliness. The salon is warm and upscale. I went for a half day at the spa and each service I recieved was top notch.What a surprise that the prices were as reasonable. I completely recommend this place. They have me forever.

        What a great salon!

        I have been a customer of Avalon Salon & Spa since it opened. I have had everything there from manicures & full sets of nails to hair cuts and color to massages. The girls are great at the services they offer and are friendly and fun to be around. They truly love what they do and that comes through in how they treat and respect their customers. I just love 'em! :)

        When I walked in I said to myself " This place belongs in Shadyside". The girls where extremely friendly and I felt relaxed the minute I walked in the door. I was surprised that the prices were so competitive. They could charge a lot more and get it. I had a half day at the spa and each and every service i received was top notch. I especially loved the private pedicure. the chair was devine because it massaged my whole back while they rubbed my feet!!!

        Avalon is a beautiful, clean, and welcoming salon with very friendly people who work there. I would definitely reccommend it if you live in or are visiting the area!
