Hunan Dynasty

Started off great and finally had enough of this place. With each visit, the food got spicier. On the last visit, every dish was spicy. My mouth was burning and I was sweating. The waitress obviously didn't understand that we didn't want the food spicy.
The old man and woman (presume they are the owners) were never greeted us or thanked us for patronizing their establishment on our visits.

This is great place to go for lunch.

The food is great. I am very picky about the Chinese restaurants that I eat at since I grew up on the real thing. However, the receipes are authentic and taste great!! This has become the only Chinese restaurant I eat at and recommend it to all of my friends. The owners are friendly and welcome everyone that comes in the door.

Avoid this place.



They served me a bowl of crunchy noodles last week with a used fortune from a fortune cookie inside. The fortune cookies there are sealed in plastic, therefore we were served someone else's table garbage.



We had steamed chicken dumplings which tasted off and both my wife and I felt sick afterwards.



We checked the Irving Health Department ratings on this place when we got home and were disgusted to find that they failed with enough demerits to give a "D" rating (called "failing").



When I posted my review on other sites, there were other reviews posted immediately afterward from newly created accounts giving the place 5-star reviews. So, beware bogus reviews.

They have great noodle dishes and spice food. Great taste and just enough of heat.
