Crowns
Wade is our Orthodontic Lab Technician. He was born in Athens, Georgia. His family moved to Warner Robins when he was four years old and stayed there. He started working part-time in a crown and bridge dental laboratory. In 1997, he moved to Atlanta to take some dental laboratory technology classes at Gwinnett Technical Institute. In 1998, he started working in an orthodontic laboratory. He found that the orthodontic work was appealing and decided to pursue it. He started working for Dr. Collins in July of 1999. He is responsible for fabricating orthodontic appliances.

Orthodontics
Dr. Collins was born in Savannah, Georgia. He lived in Waycross, Georgia, until the third grade. His family then moved to Macon. Dr. Collins attended college for eleven years, graduating with a degree in Orthodontics from the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry.

Braces
Melissa is a Certified Orthodontic Assistant. She was born and raised in Milton, West Virginia. Not long after moving to Waycross, Ga., she went to work for an orthodontist that provided on-the-job training. Having worn braces as a teenager, she was very eager to learn about the techniques of the orthodontic field. Melissa also worked for three years as a dental assistant for some very good dentists. She has two wonderful boys: 8 yr. old Benjamin and 6 yr. old Joseph. Melissa has been working for Dr. Collins over one year.

General Dentistry
Jennifer is a Certified Orthodontic Assistant. She is originally from Florida, but has lived in many other states including Arizona, Virginia, California, Texas, and finally Georgia. After she graduated from Fairfax High School in Virginia, she joined the Air Force. She spent four years stationed at Robins Air Force Base. During that time she met her future husband, George, who was also in the Air Force. They were married in 1990. Two years later they completed their family with their son, Steven. Before she came to work for Dr. Collins in 1995, she attended a dental assistant school and worked in general dentistry for two years. Jennifer continues to update her training with many continuing education courses and meetings. She is very confident that she has found a great career with Dr. Collins.
