You always have to wait FOREVER!!! I have been waiting 6 hours and counting!!!

With my previous car (which is now totaled) I took it to Firestone because my brakes were heating up. They told me it would be a couple $1000 dollars, and so did another place around town. I then took my car to a little shop in town and they fixed the problem. My brakes were heating up because my caliberg was broken and I needed new struts. WOW and it only cost me $622 for my whole frontend to be replaced compaired to over $1000. Now as we speak the vehicle I have now is at Firestone. My father bought tires from there and had the whole 9 yards of warranty balance, mounting, rotating and everything else on there. I dropped it off at 10 am, it is now 4pm and I just called and they said "Well I just talked to the manager and he said that they need to do the alignment, and he is going to do it himself right now. Give him another hour and it will be finished." WTF my vehicle has been there for 6 hours already and you arent done. All I wanted was rotating, balancing, and alignment. OH, and also they wanted to add 1 gallon of coolant for $11.99, and 1 pint of power steering fluid for $3.99. All and all I am not really pleased with them because they always take so long, and they always tell you things are wrong with your vehicle when they arent. I wouldnt go to them but I can get these tires serviced there for free under the warranty. The only good thing they have is the life time alignments, but you have to wait FOREVER to get it done!!!

    RIP OFFS!!!(Firesonte In Killeen, TX)

I took my car to firestone because it was making a groaning sound when I turn right. this is what I was told. " you need new tires, struts need replacing, front and back ball joints need to be replaced, and you will need an alignment". all of that was going to cost me 1,610.00. Now hearing this I knew right then these a$$ holes were trying to rip me off. Kia's don't come with back ball joints, my struts, tires, and alingment was just done in Feb. of 08. so I went to Kia and they told me that my balts were loose(I forgot where), but with them tightning my balts up and I got my 60,000 mile maintnance service done, it cost me $498.00. and my car no longer makes that noise. I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemies!

    Firestone....NOT!!!

I own a 2000 Chevy 3500 Duelly that needed brakepads and shoes on January 20, 2008. Previously the brakes worked well but were worn out and needed to be replaced...the truck did stop though. They charged me $700 for the brakes, new master cylinder and a brake fluid flush. When I got my truck back, it wouldn't stop...I drove right pass my house. I took it back the next day and told them to adjust the back brakes and to bleed the system again. Got it back that night, they had not adjusted the back brakes and again drove past the house! Took it back to them again-were this time they had to replace the rotors because they had overturned them originally; they had to replace the axle seals because they damaged the originals, as well as both wheel cylinders in the rear. AGAIN - drove past the driveway because I couldn't stop. Took it back again--they told me they wouldn't work on it any more and told me to take it somewhere else. They gave me $250 back. I took it to another place and it turns out that Firestone put on bad parts that had to be replaced again. I then had to take it to a Chevrolet dealership and now have spent over $3000 trying to fix what Firestone has messed up. To date, over $6000 worth of parts and labor have been spent on fixing the brakes. Today is April 26th, 2008 and I still don't have my truck back from having all the "repairs" completed from my Firestone experience. Whatever you do, do not take your vehicle to Firestone for any reason whatsoever.
