    I had a great experience with Hair Club for Men and Women in Albany, NY. They were very nice and they gave me back my hair and confidence. It was a bit pricey but I would pay three times what I did If I knew how great everything would turn out!

    Not Recommended

    A tramatic experience

    I suffer from alopecia and went to HC for help. My hair loss increased due to the application methods. Most of the hair systems for women look like high-end wigs not the natural look they advertise. I lost over $3,000.00 and I'm still bald. Search the Internet before going to HC. Also, the monthly maintenance is an additional cost. Hair loss is an emotional issue for most, so don't make a hasty and costly decision on what the very nice sales poeple tell you! I regret walking into the office. I have very dark brown hair. The hair stylist attatched a hair system that was light brown (like Beyonce) and proceed to curl my hair. It looked OK in the office, so I went home. My hair loss is at the crown and from the front it is not east to judge. My husband who I love and respect told me instantly that it looked very bad. I had a brown patch of hair on the top of my head. I later found out that a lot of the hair pieces that are used maybe rejects. EX 1: Customer A didn't like the hairpiece, but Customer B make be able to use it and HC does not have to reorder another system. I went back and they colored the hair system while attached to match my natural color. The hair color was not rinsed thoroughly because of the glue and the attachment method, so my hair broke off. Finally, I tolf them to just take the system off. I took two women over three hours to remove all the glue from my hair. I was left with patched of hair missing and hair that was very badly damaged from the glue an hair coloring.

    I booked an appointment and went into the center. The staff really put me at ease and explained my options.
