i am very happy with my rates at progressive. i got a new vehicle and i was expecting the rates to go way high, and they didn't. just a couple of bucks more. i told my friend about it and she just went online to get a quote and she was like . . . ."i should have done this many years ago!" she stated she saved $20 a month. it might not sound like a lot, but the way the economy is heading....it's best to save whatever you can.

Progresssive is a complete joke. I have been using them for a year now and my rates are constantly going up. I start at 103 dollars a month, I'm now paying 151 dollars. And no i have not had any tickects or accidents.

I contacted several insurance companies about motorcycle insurance & Progressive was 3 times higher than the next lower quote. I also had car insurance with this company in 1992 & was paying $1300 a year for the same insurance policy that Liberty Mutual was willing to write for just $240 a year. NOT what I would call a honest company! But..........guess how they pay for all of those SUVs that you see running around with Progressive on the sides of.........Oh Duhhhhhhhh, anyone stupid enough to pay their high prices!!!

I assume you went online to get your policy. Please take the time to visit an agent in person you will be surprised at the information you get and help getting you the best rate. Each company is looking for something different. Independent Agents write insurance for multiple companies, we shop for your best rate. Keep an independent insurance agent in mind for next time. - PAT

Out of all the places I shopped for insurance, they were the most expensive. And the reps were pushy.
