Dissatisfied patient's daughter

Some "quality" its a horrifying nursing home, not a rehab center as we were led to believe. I hated to leave my Dad there, the care is very poor, but I had no choice - he was released from the hospital post-surgery and needed health care, antibiotic drip, etc. I went in one day to find him sleeping in a wheelchair - locked in position- near the doorway, head forward & about to fall out with no way to reach the help/call button on the bed 7 feet away. I asked him what was going on, he was furious he said he’d been sitting there for 2 hours he was supposed to go to rehab and the doctor came while the aides were putting him in the wheelchair, so they left him there so the doctor could check him and they forgot about him. He's so weak still that he can’t walk alone so he couldn’t get out of the wheelchair & back to bed alone! Anyway, although the social worker and admissions officer were very nice and helpful, after observing numerous other negative issues, I don't feel that the quality of care is very good at all. If you have a choice I don't recommend sending your loved one there.
