My wife, went to Monarch Dental in January regarding an appointment with the dentist. At that time the dentist advised she would need a gross scaling ($ out of pocket and $$$ to the insurance) done before they would provide the cleanings (free under insurance). I thought this was a scam for more money and had my wife contact them regarding this. They advised this would be a one time procedure and by doing this they would be able to provide cleanings from then on out. My wife went to the dentist for the gross scaling. The appointment took about 30 or so minutes and afterwords, the dentist advised she would need a deep gross scale cleaning (which would be $$$$ out of pocket and the insurance would pay the other $$$$$$$). This is a scam as she had a dentist appointment in June of 2008 and the Dentist advised she was fine (we moved). I then went online to this site to look @ complaints (87 complaints in 36 months on B B B site)
