    The best Porterhouse EVER

    Posted by TabbyKatMeow on 12/30/2008

I was delighted when I found out Saltgrass after craving a porterhouse. We ran into a friendly manager at the checkout line at the store and asked if they sold porterhouse. After comfirming we went the very next night. Seeing the manager again he was very friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. I have eaten there several times and have never been dissapointed! The management is on top of things and the staff is very knowladgeable of the entire menu. Like any resturant there are good nights and bad nights. We did not get the best service the last time we went but the manager came to say sorry and spoke with the staff. The rest of the evening we very well. Even gave me extra, extra ranch to take home and enjoy a few more times. There ranch dressing is to die for. My husband loves there there awesome Shiner Bock Beer Bread that is included with your meal along with a salad and sides. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone who enjoys a really really good steak. Thank are aimes to please you!

Food was great, but the wait to seat, get a drink and getting you food was horrible. We will never fo back to Saltgrass until they get better wait staff.

    Very Good

An upscale Texas Roadhouse/Loanstar Steakhouse... if you ask me.

    Posted by bbrady on 04/21/2007

My girlfriend and stumbled on to the Saltgrass Grille on Saturday 4/21/07, and we thought we would give it a try. I had the Ribeye topped with mushrooms and onions and she had the seafood fondue (technically an appetizer). My steak was well prepared and very tasty; the fondue was creamy and quite filling as a meal. Our server was knowledgeable and very friendly. Overall I would rate it better than Loanstar and/or Texas Roadhouse but not as good as Outback or above Outback quality. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The restaurant was clean and orginized.

Big Fancy Steakhouses better watch out!

    Posted by syedmj on 10/18/2006

I used to live in Texas and so I'd like to think I know a thing or two about Steaks. When I moved to Colorado most places around here are big steakhouses like: Palm and Capitol Grill which have outrageous prices just for meat with sides being extra and the steaks are not cooked well. I was delighted when I found out Saltgrass was coming to Colorado since it was my favorite place to eat in Houston. They do not dissapoint! The management is on top of things clearly since this is one our the first restaurant in this state they aim to please. We go and spend about $40 for dinner for a couple but you get alot. First is there awesome Shiner Bock Beer Bread, then included with your meal is a salad and sides. They have loaded baked potatoes with cheese, chives, bacon and sour cream - the way baked potatoes are supposed to be eaten! I would recommend this place to anyone. We live in Highlands Ranch but we drive to Paker just for the food!

Great menu. One of the best steaks you'll ever eat, make sure to try one of the toppings. Service normally good, but can be questionable.
