Cheap and Good

Astor has several qualities that I like in a restaurant and see rarely in DC: it's cheap, has outdoor seating, and is relatively healthy food. During my only visit to Astor, I had a Greek salad with gyro meat on top. It cost seven bucks, and fed two of us until we were stuffed. All the tables inside and outside of this small Mediterranean restaurant were full. The other happy-looking customers were mostly eating plates of that had salads, hummus, and slow-roasted meats. Astor is a great option when you want to eat a good meal in Adams Morgan and don't want to spend your dough.
